Hardknock is expanding its Type 2 safety helmet lineup with the new Credence NoBrim safety helmet.
Designed for crews that need better upward visibility and a compact profile, the Credence is built for climbing, elevated work, confined spaces, mechanical trades, industrial maintenance, and other jobs where a full brim may get in the way.
Now Taking Orders: Unbranded Hardknock Credence helmets are expected to begin shipping August 17, 2026. Custom-branded helmets currently have an estimated lead time of 3–4 weeks.
What Is the Hardknock Credence?
The Hardknock Credence is a modern NoBrim Type 2 safety helmet designed to provide a clear field of view when looking upward and reduce interference when working in tight or restricted areas.
Like the Hardknock Resolve Full Brim Helmet, the Credence features Nuro® impact protection technology. The cellular Nuro Core is designed to flex, compress, and glide during an impact, helping manage both direct and rotational forces.
The Credence also includes a chinstrap for secure retention and is available in vented Class C and non-vented Class E configurations.
Choose the Right Credence Helmet
Credence 150-0: Class C Vented
The Hardknock Credence 150-0 is the vented Class C model. Large vents at the top, sides, and rear work with the 93% porous Nuro Core to promote airflow throughout the helmet.
This model is a strong choice for:
- Construction and industrial work
- Climbing and elevated work
- Mechanical and maintenance crews
- Confined or compact work areas
- Hot environments where electrical protection is not required

Credence 155-0: Class E Non-Vented
The Hardknock Credence 155-0 features a non-vented Class E shell for jobs where electrical hazard protection is required.
Although the outer shell is non-vented, the porous Nuro Core and internal fit system are designed to maintain a lightweight, comfortable feel throughout the workday.
This model is a strong choice for:
- Electrical and utility crews
- Industrial maintenance
- Mechanical and technical work
- Elevated work near electrical hazards
- Jobsites requiring Class E head protection

Credence NoBrim vs. Resolve Full Brim
Both helmet styles provide Hardknock Type 2 protection with Nuro technology, but each design is suited to different types of work.
Choose the Credence NoBrim when:
- Upward visibility is important
- You regularly climb or work at elevation
- You work in confined or compact areas
- A full brim could interfere with equipment or surrounding structures
- You prefer a low-profile helmet design
Choose the Resolve Full Brim when:
- You work primarily outdoors
- You want additional coverage from sun, rain, and falling debris

Built With Nuro Impact Protection Technology
Traditional hard hats were primarily designed around direct, top-down impacts. Real jobsite incidents can also involve angled impacts, side impacts, slips, trips, and falls.
Nuro technology uses a cellular structure designed to flex, compress, and glide during impact. This helps the helmet manage both direct impact energy and rotational forces that may occur during an angled impact.
Combined with the Type 2 shell, chinstrap, adjustable suspension, and low-profile fit, the Credence is built for the way crews move and work on modern jobsites.

Hardknock Credence helmets are available in a wide selection of jobsite colors, including:

Color availability varies between the 150-0 Class C vented and 155-0 Class E non-vented configurations. The product configurator will display the colors available for the selected model.
